No appointment needed — we're a walk-in shelter! After we review your inquiry, just stop by during our hours (Mon–Sat, 12–6pm) and you can often meet your match and take them home the same day.

Starting an adoption inquiry with the Spartanburg Humane Society is the first step toward bringing home your new best friend. Tell us a little about your household and the pet who caught your eye, and our adoption team will follow up to answer questions and welcome you in to meet your match.

An adoption inquiry isn't a commitment — it's a conversation. We use it to make thoughtful matches between our animals and the families who will love them, so every pet lands in a home that fits. There's no pressure and no perfect résumé required; we simply want to help you find the right companion.
